Author productivity and scientific collaboration in the Journal Ansiedad y Estrés

Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine author productivity and scientific collaboration in the Journal Ansiedad y Estrés during the period 1994-2011 using social network analysis methodologies. Social network analysis is a tool increasingly used to understand the relationships between the different elements that comprise a bibliographic scientific work. In this paper researchers collaboration patterns have been studied and . networks of co-authorship and collaboration have been built to identify the different research groups. Results show an increase in the number of works published by women throughout the period studied. The information collected was analyzed using Pajek and Ucinet programs and network graphics were designed with Netdraw graphics software.
