Team climate as an antecedent of burnout and psychosomatic manifestations

This paper follows a previous research line where team climate and some sociodemographic dimensions are configured as antecedents of burnout and psychosomatic symptoms. The paper has four objectives. Predicting variables include sociodemographic dimensions and team climate; criterion variables are burnout and psychosomatic manifestations. Sample consisted of 532 participants belonging to 110 work teams from companies in Tarragona, Lleida, Barcelona and Valladolid. Four instruments were applied: Socio-demographic aspects, TCI, MBI, PSICOSOM-27. Results obtained indicate that team climate is a predictor of burnout and psychosomatic manifestations.
