Author
Abstract
The relationship between anxiety, perceived emotional intelligence, perceived health and health behavior in adolescence was examined. 462 adolescents between 16 and 19 years old were tested with a self-report of health behaviors, Anxiety Trait Scale (STAI) and Trait Meta- Mood Scale (TMMS). Results showed a relationship between low anxiety, high clarity and emotion repair and perceived health symptoms and life satisfaction. Positive health perception was related with an increment of health behaviors and low alcohol and drugs intake.
