Epidemiological aspects and risk factors in cardiovascular disorders

Cardiovascular disorders have reached to be the main cause of mortality in developed countries, and it is predictable that this trend will maintain and increase in next years. In the present paper, the most outstanding risk factors related with cardiovascular pathology are analyzed, in trying to identify them, know them in more detail, and develop preventive managements in order to control its onset and development. This paper deals mainly with biomedical factors, due to personality ones, such as type-A behavior, etc. are presented in other papers on this monography.
