Emotional responses in women under attended-reproduction treatment

| Resumen |
The advance in biomedical knowledge and techniques has enabled increasingly efficient attended-reproduction treatments, as well as an increase in the demand. At the same time, current investigations have shown the importance of psychosocial variables and emotional processes in women under these treatments. In this sense, emotional, psychosocial and behavioral factors have been proved to affect women and their partners, subjected to these techniques of reproduction, and that these factors have negative effects during the treatment. The evaluation of emotional responses (anxiety, anger, depression) through self-reports among a group of women (N=63) subjected to an attended-reproduction treatment were compared to those of another group of women (N=63) without fertility problems and under no such treatment. The results obtained are included in this study.
