| Resumen |
Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a chronic neurological disease, progressive and degenerative. This disorder can influence individual’s ability in order to adopt a more or less active role in his/her daily life. The aim of this paper is to study relationship between PD and anxiety, anger and sadness-depression. Two samples of PD patients and healthy control subjects were used. Assessment included the following instruments: clinical interview, the Inventory of Situations and Responses of Anxiety –ISRA- (Miguel-Tobal & Cano-Vindel, 1994), the State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory – STAXI 2-(Miguel-Tobal, Casado, Cano-Vindel & Spielberger, 2001), and Three-Dimensional Questionnaire of Depression –CTD- (Jiménez- García, Miguel-Tobal & Cano-Vindel, 1996). Results show that there are significant differences between both groups regarding anxiety, anger and sadness-depression. In this sense, Parkinson disease patients present higher scores in anxiety and sadness-depression and lower scores in anger-out than control subjects.
