A 197 secondary education teacher’s sample from twenty-four schools completed the MBI and a reduced version of the HSCL (Hopkins Symptoms CheckList). Several confirmatory factor analyses were carried out and a three-dimension oblique model showed the best adjustment for the data. A structural model was estimated, showing significant paths between emotional exhaustion and psychological symptoms of depression, somatization, anxiety, cognitive difficulties, and interpersonal sensibility. a1134-7937 a2174-0437
