The present work has two different aims: 1) Explore the relationship between anxiety, anger and burnout; and 2) test the efficiency of a cognitive-behavioral treatment programme focused on anxiety and anger control related to burnout in hospital personell. The following assessment instruments were used in this study: ISRA (Miguel Tobal & Cano Vindel, 1994), STAXI 2 (Spielberger, 1999) and MBI (Maslach y Jackson, 1986, 1997). Treatment programme was applied to sample of 67 hospital workers, following a pre-post design with control group. Pearson´s correlation shaws that there is a relationship between burnout, anxiety and anger. Bifactorial repeated- measures ANOVA shows that the programme and treatment techniques were effectives. a1134-7937 a2174-0437
