González-Camino López00aThe influence of stress and job satisfaction on propensity to leave organization, absenteeism, and accident rate a275-2840 v83 aThe present paper analyses the effect that stress and job satisfaction has on the propensity to leave the organization, absenteeism and accident rate. Variables have been analysed in a 203 Spanish professional soldiers. Results show that, although, there were no high levels in the variables analysed, there are negative significant relationship between job satisfaction and propensity to leave and the accident rate. So, as the work satisfaction is higher, there is a lower the propensity to leave the organization, as well as accident rate for the studied sample. It was also found a positive significant relationship between stress and the propensity to leave the organization. No significant results were found regarding absenteeism. a1134-7937 a2174-0437
