The psychometric properties were acceptable and somewhat lower than in the American study. The results of the factor analysis point out a robust and orthogonal structure of the coping strategies. Age and sex showed low but significant correlations; we also found differences with the American norms. Findings are discussed in regards to the impact of coping and comments on the use of the studied instrument, both in the clinical and research practice, are made. a1134-7937 a2174-0437
