Pulido00aAnxiety and work satisfaction in female healthcare workers a55-690 v143 aThis study investigates the incidence of anxiety in healthcare workers belonging to different health assistance fields. The Spielberger State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI, 1997) and Meliá and Peirós Job Satisfaction scales (1989) were used on a sample of 263 female healthcare workers, ranging from 18 to 65 years of age. Results show how people affected by significant levels of state/trait anxiety are less satisfied with their jobs with regard to the factors analyzed; supervision style, participation, remuneration-intrinsic promotion and physical environment of the workplace. a1134-7937 a2174-0437
