For that purpose, the Inventario de Situaciones y Respuestas de Ansiedad (Inventory of Situations and Responses of Anxiety), I.S.R.A. (Miguel- Tobal & Cano-Vindel, 1986, 1988, 1994) and The State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory, S.T.A.X.I. (Spielberger, 1988, 1991) have been used (Miguel-Tobal, Cano-Vindel, Casado & Spielberger, 1992). Data on significant differences in trait anxiety, the three response systems (cognitive, physiological and motor) and the four situational anxiety factors (test anxiety, interpersonal anxiety, phobic situations and daily life situations) are presented. Regarding anger, data also show significant differences in some scales of S.T.A.X.I. (anger trait, temperament, angerout, and anger-expression). A higher presence of negative emotions in asthmatics than in healthy people is outlined, showing the importance of the study of these emotions for a complete comprenhension and treatment of the disorder.}, year = {1999}, journal = {Ansiedad y Estrés}, volume = {5}, number = {1}, pages = {25-35}, month = {01/1999}, publisher = {Sociedad Española para el Estudio de la Ansiedad y el Estrés}, issn = {1134-7937}, isbn = {2174-0437}, }
