Hernández "Guanir" AB - The Balanced Subjective Well-being (well-being and discomfort in the satisfaction with the life according to BIS-HERNÁN) is predicted and explained through the Emotional Intelligence and the Mental Molds, as models of cognitive-affective abilities versus traits . The sample, constituted by 110 participants, includes two groups: extreme wellbeing and discomfort with 37 people each one. The EI, evaluated through the tests TMMS-24 and SSRI, explains 31% of the variance through a discriminant analysis which classifies to 74% of the cases, especially, with Emotional Regulation and Clarity dimensions. The MOLDES test explains 61% of the variance and classifies correctly to 89% of the people in the respective groups, standing out that the hostile mistrust, together with the social dependence and the lack of the appraisal in the self-achievements, discriminate accurately the subjective discomfort from subjective well-being.
