It is assessed through, STAXI (Spielberger, Miguel- Tobal, Cano Vindel, & Casado, 1992) and the BDI (Beck, Rush, Shaw, & Emery, 1979; Beck, Ward, Mendelson, Mock, & Erbaugh, 1962). The sample consists of 25 people, relatives to persons with schizophrenia diagnosis. The results show that after the intervention, the anger and depression levels of the relatives have decreased. The interest on the fact that intervention programmes, can teach how to control specific emotions as anger and depression to the relatives, is discussed. The way the learning can help the relatives to manage with schizophrenia, especially during the first stages of the disease, is also discussed. a1134-7937 a2174-0437
