The effects of breeding habits in adolescent behaviours a75-880 v103 aThe research done on a sample of 531 teenagers of ages ranging between 12 and 16, representative of the general population, has two objectives: first, to analyze the relationship that can be established between the prosocial and aggressive behavior and the emotional stability. Second, to study the influence that they have upon structural factors of the personality related to the upbringing, and the prosocial disposition of the subject. Hence, the results show that the emotional stability constitutes a fundamental factor to establish relations of empathy and positiveness with the environment Likewise, emotional stability is a factor in physical and verbal manifestations. Moreover, within the structure of the personality, the most important factors are Friendship and Conscience as far as altruistic and prosocial conducts are concerned. The factor of Friendship evaluates the capacity to empathize and cooperate before the needs of others.
