The aim of this study was to explore information on the perception of the adolescents during their pregnancy, both related to stressors and to psychosocial support. Two groups of pregnant adolescents in five cities of the Mexican Republic (Durango, Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Morelia and Mexico City) were compared. One of them included 114 adolescent cases with the diagnosis of pregnancy induced hypertension (PIH), and another one included 223 qualified as healthy (control group). Comparisons of stressful experiences and grateful events in relation to the familiar and social net were conducted.
