The Obsessive Beliefs Questionnaire (OBQ) was developed to assess these beliefs. The aim of the present work was to study the psychometric properties of the Spanish version of the OBQ. Two non-clinical groups participated, one of university students and another one of people from the general community. Results show that the psychometric properties of the Spanish version of the OBQ are similar to those of the original English version. Although studies with clinical samples are needed, the Spanish version of the OBQ is a suitable instrument for the assessment of beliefs related to obsessions and compulsions. a1134-7937 a2174-0437
