This paper presents the theoretical and empirical basis of the PsicAP treatment program, highlighting four key aspects: evidence-based treatment using cognitive behavioral techniques; stepped care model; transdiagnostic approach and group format treatment. Finally, we highlight the practical implications of this initiative, that seeks to reduce the gap between research on the effectiveness of psychological treatments and clinical practice, as well as attending to the patient s right to choose which treatment he/she wants to receive.  a1134-7937
