  abstract = {This work raises the relationship between Occupational Stress and the mental health of subjects exposed to it. Two levels of relationship are analysed: the influence of occupational stress on psychological strain and on mental wellness, considered as disturbances, and its influence on the arouse of probable disorders produced by stress, by the loss of mental wellbeing, by anxiety or by depression. The capacity of the Job Stress Survey as a valid instrument of occuppational stress assesment is shown.},
