Based on theories that outline the relationship between environmental reward and mood - starting point of modem Behavioral Activation treatments for depression-, Armento and Hopko (2007) developed the EROS, a brief self-report measure designed to obtain efficient, reliable and valid information on the amount and availability of environmental reward. We analyse the psychometric properties of the Spanish adaptation using a sample of 263 clinical and nonclinical participants. Results suggest that, as the English original scale, the Spanish EROS is internally consistent (α = .86) and valid (high correlations with BDI-II, BADS, STAI-E/R, AAQ; significant differences between clinical and nonclinical participants). The current adaptation offers Spanish-speaking clinical psychologists and researchers a highly practical instrument designed to gather information on environmental reward, as perceived by an individual, and any possible changes produced as a consequence of therapeutic intervention.}, year = {2010}, journal = {Ansiedad y Estrés}, volume = {16}, number = {1}, pages = {95-107}, month = {01/2010}, publisher = {Sociedad Española para el Estudio de la Ansiedad y el Estrés}, issn = {1134-7937}, isbn = {2174-0437}, }
